Simon Treacy

Simon Treacy is the Executive Chairman of PolarBlue, a company focused on providing affordable energy solutions. They served as Global Real Estate CIO and Head of US Equity at BlackRock from 2013 to 2017 and were the Global CEO of MGPA/Macquarie Bank from 2004 to 2013, earning the title of 2008 Asian Industry Figure of the Year from PERE. Treacy’s career began at Lendlease, where they held various investment roles from 1989 to 2004, culminating in a managerial position. They currently also serve as a Non Executive Director at GreenPlace, alongside a senior advisor role in private equity real assets at CapitaLand. Treacy earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Human Resources from Griffith University.
