Andrew Dummer

Director Of Research And Development—xenon Technology at Polarean

Andrew Dummer has extensive experience in research and development roles. Andrew began their career at the University of North Carolina as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, where they designed and performed experiments in nuclear physics. Andrew then moved on to positions at Troxler Electronic Laboratories, Parata Systems, and Plexus Technology Group, where they continued to develop and design prototype systems.

In 2008, Dummer joined RTI International as a Research Engineer, participating in classified research projects in measurement and signals intelligence. Andrew then transitioned to Cree, where they worked as a Senior Research and Development Engineer, focusing on developing innovative light fixtures.

Dummer's later experience includes working as a Nuclear Physics Consultant at Witt Security Solutions, where they provided subject matter expertise and developed concept designs for scanning systems. Currently, they are employed at Polarean Imaging plc. as the Director of Research and Development—Xenon Technology, overseeing the company's xenon hyperpolarization technology and driving research and development initiatives.

From 1992 to 1999, Andrew Dummer pursued their PhD in Physics at The University of Kansas.
