Craig Hawes has a diverse work history in engineering. Craig started their career as a Mechanical Engineer intern at Daktronics in 2007 and later worked as a Mechanical Engineer intern at Appareo Systems, LLC in 2008. Craig then worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Quiet Waters Engineering from 2010 to 2011. Craig joined CNH in 2011 as an Engine Installation Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Current Product Engineer - Cotton Harvesters from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they worked as an Engineer II at RFA Engineering. Since 2016, Craig has been employed at Polaris Inc., where they started as a Sr. Systems Engineer - Chassis and is currently serving as a Systems Engineering Lead - Structures.
Craig Hawes completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) at North Dakota State University from 2006 to 2009. Craig then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Management at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2019 to 2022. In addition, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2016.
