Matthew Walkup

Matthew Walkup has a diverse work history that spans several industries. Matthew started their career in 1997 as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where they served for eight years and held the rank of Sergeant. During their time in the Marines, their primary role was a Stinger Gunner/Avenger Crewman (anti-air defense).

Following their military service, Matthew worked at POLARIS Laboratories from 2010 to 2012, starting as a 1st Shift Supervisor before being promoted to Sample Processing Manager and ultimately becoming a Production Manager. In these roles, they showcased their leadership skills and managed various aspects of production and sample processing.

Since 2014, Matthew has been employed at Pottery Barn as an ASM Operations, where they oversee inventory management, supplies, facilities, and shipping. Matthew also supervises the sales floor, handles customer interactions, and resolves escalated customer service issues.

Overall, Matthew's work experience demonstrates their ability to take on diverse roles and responsibilities, as well as their strong leadership and customer service skills.

Matthew Walkup attended Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis from 2005 to 2009. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Teacher Education with a focus on Physical Education and Health K-12.
