Tommy Carroll

Tommy Carroll is a finance and applied mathematics student at the University of Rhode Island, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a Team Leader - Student Consultant at Polaris MEP, Tommy leads a team addressing supply chain, automation, and cybersecurity for a local defense manufacturer. As a Research Consultant at WorldQuant, Tommy develops and tests trading strategies. Previous experience includes an internship with University of Rhode Island Sponsored Cost Accounting, where financial management of grant awards was a focus, and teaching coding, training, and testing of artificial intelligence at the University of Rhode Island Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Additionally, Tommy has served as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Mathematics, supporting students in Calculus courses, and held a financial role with AtlanticWindsRI and PrepareRI.
