Director of Research, Positioning and Tracking at Polaris Wireless

Jian Jet Zhu has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jian Jet began their career as a Research Assistant at Beijing University of Technology from September 1998 to August 2000. Jian Jet then pursued their education and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from September 2001 to April 2006.

In May 2006, Jian Jet Zhu joined Polaris Wireless as a Senior Research Engineer, where they focused on barometric-based vertical location estimation and achieving FCC's requirements for wireless E911 calls. Jian Jet played a crucial role in developing and integrating a prototype system used in CTIA Z-axis test, demonstrating better location accuracy than a device-based solution.
