B. Maurice Benson

B. Maurice Benson has been working in the software engineering field since 2004. B. Maurice began their career as a student at UNCW and then moved on to Specialty Software Systems in 2008, where they worked as a Software Developer and was the research lead on a cutting edge machine vision project. In 2011, they started working for ManTech International Corporation as a Senior Software Developer and for 203 Solutions as a Research and Development Specialist, where they used image processing algorithms to create pattern recognition software. In 2017, they joined Stratus Solutions as a Senior Software Developer, where they were the software lead for an experimental research project. In 2016, they began working for Fearless as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Developer / Data Scientist, where they consulted on various machine learning projects and used distributed computing approach to run AI experiments. In 2021, they began working for POLARISqb as a Principal Software Engineer.

B. Maurice Benson obtained a Bs in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington between 2002 and 2006. B. Maurice then went on to receive a Masters of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems from the same university between 2006 and 2010.
