Claudia Hössbacher

Claudia is co-founder and CEO of Polariton Technologies. Prior to Polariton, she was a post-doc in the group of Juerg Leuthold at ETH Zurich, where she also received her PhD in plasmonic modulators for optical communications in 2017. She further holds a Master’s degree in Optics and Photonics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. With >6 years of experience in high-speed electro-optics, she has always been interested in applications and was awarded the ETH Pioneer Fellowship to transfer her research project into innovative products. Outside the office, Claudia loves dancing and enjoys being outside while biking, camping and hiking.
