Marc Rovira

Marc Rovira has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as a Business Developer at touchland®. Marc then co-founded Brainit in 2014 and was involved in various achievements, including participating in the Intel Business Challenge European Final and attending the BETA program of WebSummit 2014. In the same year, they also worked as a Business Innovation Consultant at A Piece of Pie.

Moving forward, Marc joined invenio learn.by.doing in 2014 as an Online Channel Manager, where they developed a holistic view of the business through metrics and KPIs.

In 2015, they joined Zero 2 Infinity as a Business Developer and Investment Team member, where they successfully raised just under 4M€ in investment, representing a significant increase compared to the previous five years.

In 2017, Marc co-founded Widuid and became its CEO, leading the company until 2018. That same year, they also became a Member of Barcelona Tech City.

In 2019, they became a Fellow of the Sigma Squared Society and joined EYES - Emerging Young Entrepreneurs Society as a member, participating in events that brought together likeminded young individuals from around the world who shared an entrepreneurial spirit.

In 2017, Marc founded Polaroo and has been serving as its Founder and CEO since then.

Marc Rovira's education history begins with their high school studies at Benjamin Franklin International School of Barcelona from 2004 to 2009. During this time, they focused on subjects such as Calculus, Physics, and Art.

After completing high school, Marc went on to pursue their Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at the University of Bath from 2009 to 2013.

In 2012, Marc participated in an exchange program at FH Joanneum, where they studied Automotive Engineering for a brief period.

Following their undergraduate studies, Marc attended Esade in 2013 and 2014 to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Marc received a full tuition scholarship for this program.

Currently, there is no information available about any further education at the University of Bath or in any other field of study.
