Márcio Santos

Márcio Santos has a diverse range of work experience in the field of frontend development. Márcio began their career as a Support Analyst at Revvisa Tecnologia in 2013 before moving on to an internship as a Web Development Intern at Tribunal de Contas do Estado de Santa Catarina in 2014. In 2015, Márcio worked as a Full Stack Developer at PD Case Informatica Ltda, where they built new features and maintained an electronic lawsuit management application. Márcio also extracted rule engine services to a separate module and encouraged unit testing among other developers.

From 2016 to 2020, Márcio worked as a Mobile Developer at ParkApp International and as a Senior Frontend Developer and Frontend Developer at Aurum Software. At Aurum Software, they were responsible for building new and testable features, implementing new components in the component library, and refactoring the AngularJS legacy code to React. In addition, they led a squad of developers and initiated a new mobile app using React Native.

In 2020, Márcio joined Mercado Livre as a Frontend Engineer, where they participated in building a highly available system within logistics centers. Márcio developed new and testable features, extracted micro frontends from the frontend monolith, and presented solutions. Márcio worked with a tech stack that included JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Redux, and more.

Most recently, Márcio joined Rodeo - Make It Flow in 2021 as a Senior Frontend Engineer. Their role involved building a UI application to replace a legacy system, making technical and architectural decisions, and collaborating with the product team to improve user experience and interface. The project also involved modernizing the tech stack and improving code quality. Márcio worked with technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL, and more. In 2023, they joined Polarsteps as a Senior Frontend Engineer.

Márcio Santos completed their education in Information Technology from 2013 to 2019 at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, where they obtained a degree in Information Systems.
