Janine de Jong

Janine de Jong has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a Coffee Consultant at Nestlé Nespresso, where they provided coffee tastings and consultations. Janine then worked as a Student Assistant in Communications and Marketing at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam before becoming a Secretary at Faculteitsvereniging EOS, where they managed membership and organized social events. After this, they worked at ING as a Receptionist, being the first point of contact for employees and visitors. Janine then moved on to Membr, where they held various roles including Operations Manager and Dutch-speaking Account Manager. Currently, they are working at Pole Star Space Applications as a Product Owner and previously served as a Project Manager.

Janine de Jong's education history begins with their attendance at Minkema College Woerden from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained an Atheneum degree with a focus on Economie & Maatschappij, Cultuur & Maatschappij. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Public Administration & Organizational Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2010 to 2014. Janine furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration & Human Resource Management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Janine de Jong has obtained several certifications. In July 2015, they achieved a certification for the Master of Science in Business Administration: HRM from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam / VU University Amsterdam. Janine also holds certifications in Professional Scrum Product Owner I from Scrum.org (obtained in March 2023) and Photoshop for UX Design, Agile Product Owner Role: Foundations, and Agile Product Owner Role: Techniques from LinkedIn (all obtained in June and July 2020).
