Shayel Encaoua

Shayel Encaoua is an Integration Engineer at Polen Capital. Shayel started their career as a Tutor at Camner Center of Academic Studies in January 2017 and then became a Project Development Assistant at Creaciones Jetbag in June 2014. In between their previous company, Verbit.ai, Shayel worked as a Software Engineer Intern from June 2018 to August 2018. There, they worked with the company’s speech recognition team to improve performance of their software by analyzing data and developing regression tests. As a Summer Analyst at Polen Capital from June 2019 to August 2019, Shayel worked with the company’s Data Analytics and Technology team to improve the automation of current data collection and reporting systems.

Shayel Encaoua has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Columbia University, a Software Engineering degree from the University of Miami, and a Deep Learning Nanodegree from Udacity. Shayel also has a Cyber Security degree from Tel Aviv University and a High School Degree from Scheck Hillel Community Day School.

They work with John Sardina - Senior Data Engineer, Jeff Prom - Senior Data Architect, and Kenisha Morgan - ServiceNow Engineer. Their manager is Praveen Reddy, Head, Technology.
