Awais Ahmed

Awais Ahmed is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Director of Financial Reporting & Accounting at Polestar since November 2024. Previously, Awais held the position of Group Director of Finance at Cazoo from August 2022 to August 2024, after which Awais served as Group Financial Controller. Prior to Cazoo, Awais worked at Laing O'Rourke as Financial Controller- Group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and C Suite operations. Awais began a career in finance at EY, progressing through roles from Assistant Manager to Senior Manager, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Awais also gained experience as a Senior Associate at KPMG U.A.E. Awais is a qualified ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and holds an ACCA from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
