Matthew Clowes

Matthew Clowes has extensive work experience in the field of climate and thermal engineering. Matthew is currently working at Polestar as a Principal Engineer, specializing in climate and thermal attributes. Prior to joining Polestar, they worked at JCB as a Thermal Systems Engineer, focusing on the thermal management of electric construction and off-highway vehicles. Matthew also worked at Bentley Motors Ltd as an HVAC Engineer, where they were responsible for the calibration and development of climate control systems. Matthew has also worked as an Automotive Engineering Consultant at MC Automotive Engineering Limited. Before transitioning to engineering roles, they gained experience as a Specialist Sales Advisor at Dixons Carphone. Early in their career, they completed an industrial placement at Bentley Motors Ltd, where they were involved in the physical validation of vehicle designs.

Matthew Clowes attended Staffordshire University from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Automotive Engineering.
