Petronella Wittung Danielsson

Petronella Wittung Danielsson has a diverse work experience in risk management, audit, and accounting. Petronella is currently serving as the Chief Audit Executive at Polestar since November 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Global Governance, Risk and Control at Volvo Penta from December 2019 to October 2021. Before that, they held the position of Head of Risk Management & Permanent Control at BNP Paribas Cardif from December 2017 to November 2019. Petronella also worked as a Manager of Financial Risk Management & Authorized Public Accountant at KPMG Sweden from February 2014 to November 2017. Petronella started their career at Volvo Car Corporation as a Senior Business Auditor, where they conducted audits globally and identified control deficiencies from September 2011 to January 2014. Petronella has also worked as a Financial Auditor at KPMG, specializing in middle market companies in various industries. Petronella served as an Associate/Senior Associate at KPMG from August 2005 to August 2009, and came back after a year of leave to work as a Senior Associate/Approved Public Accountant from August 2010 to September 2011. Additionally, Petronella has experience working as an Accountant at STS Språkresor in Malta from June 2005 to August 2005 and as a Field Administrator at Médecins Sans Frontieres in Liberia from August 2009 to June 2010.
