Ranjan Chandar currently serves as a SW Developer in Battery Management & Controls at Polestar, where responsibilities include developing a model of lithium-ion batteries for system identification and analysis, as well as completing a master thesis focused on automatic system identification of equivalent circuit parameters for lithium-ion batteries. Prior experience includes an Engineer Intern role in Battery Management Systems, where Ranjan developed and verified test cases for software in a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environment, and a Graduate Design Engineer position at Valeo, working on automotive thermal systems design using Catia V5. Ranjan’s education includes a Master’s degree in Mobility Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pondicherry University and a Micro Masters in Emerging Automotive Technologies.
