Rob Tandy

Rob Tandy is an experienced engineer specializing in exterior mechanisms and body structures, with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Group Lead - Exterior Mechanism's at Polestar since July 2019, Tandy also holds titles of Principal Engineer Mechanisms and Project Engineer - Sealing, Glazing & Mechanisms. Prior to this role, Tandy was self-employed from May 2008 to June 2019 as a Technical Specialist and Concept Architect for body exteriors and mechanisms. Previous experience includes a position as Project Engineer for Body Exteriors at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd from April 2003 to April 2008, and earlier roles in body structures and closures design while self-employed from August 1994 to March 2003. Tandy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Coventry University between September 2005 and July 2010.
