Steven Wilkinson

Steven Wilkinson has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Steven most recently served as the Head of Manufacturing Engineering at Polestar since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at INEOS Automotive from April 2020 to April 2023.

Before that, Steven was a Senior Manager at Dyson from 2018 to 2020, responsible for automotive process and equipment planning. Steven also has extensive experience at Jaguar Land Rover, where they held various managerial positions in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME). This includes managing production planning for new vehicle projects, overseeing the design and development of production facilities and assembly tooling, and leading teams to deliver high-quality vehicles. Throughout their career, Steven has demonstrated expertise in project management, process design, and team leadership.

Steven Wilkinson earned a B.Eng. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Plymouth University, where they studied from 1990 to 1993. Steven further pursued their education at Coventry University, obtaining an MBA in Engineering Business Administration with a focus on Manufacturing Engineering from 2001 to 2004.
