Brendan Johnston

Brendan Johnston is a seasoned professional in IT service management with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the National Standards Lead at Police Digital Service since May 2020, Brendan has also held the position of Interim Head of Strategy and Innovation. Prior to this, Brendan worked at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ from October 2015 to May 2020 as a Service Transition Manager, focusing on release, change, and configuration management, as well as operational readiness. Brendan’s earlier experience includes serving as the Application Support Delivery Leader at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group from September 2007 to October 2015, where responsibilities encompassed release and environment management, change management, and managing key IT functions. Brendan Johnston holds a BSc in Applied Computing from the University of Ulster, earned between 1993 and 1997.
