Rachael Walker currently works as the Policy and Research Director at Policy in Practice, where Rachael focuses on maximizing incomes and simplifying the benefits system for low-income households. Prior to this, Rachael was a Principal Consultant at Trueman Change, helping organizations navigate change in a compassionate and collaborative manner. With a background in local government and a deep passion for public sector transformation, Rachael has held various roles such as Customer Contact Manager at Hyndburn Borough Council and Information Centre Manager at British Council. Rachael holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of York and has extensive experience in policy development and innovation within the public sector.
