Muhammad Abdulkarim CPLP is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in climate action, energy systems, and public service. Currently serving as a Fellow at Ecochampions Africa since March 2024, Muhammad is engaged in climate education initiatives. Additionally, Muhammad holds a Fellowship with the Behavioral Insights Network Transparency and Accountability Fellowship. As a Protection and Control Engineer at the Transmission Company of Nigeria since January 2020, Muhammad ensures the stability and reliability of Nigeria's electricity transmission. Previous roles include competitive fellowships with Student Energy and the Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship, as well as an internship at Climate Technology Solutions, where Muhammad developed policies on carbon capture. Education credentials include multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Power Machine Systems, supplemented by studies in politics and governance.

Policy Innovation Centre
The Policy Innovation Centre (PIC) is the first national institutionalized behavioural initiative in Africa supporting governments and stakeholders to make behaviorally informed decisions and generate contextually relevant evidence for high impact interventions in critical thematic areas. The PIC is an initiative of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG).
