PolicyLink was founded in 1999 by President and CEO Angela Glover Blackwell, who wanted to create a research and action institute dedicated to advancing racial and economic equity. The organization's leadership team is experienced in a variety of fields, including business, law, education, technology, and consulting. They have worked for companies such as JPMorgan Chase, the Obama Foundation, and B Lab, and have degrees from esteemed universities like Harvard Kennedy School, New York University, and the University of California, Berkeley.
