Marianne Sandal

Marianne Sandal is the COO at PoLight. Marianne has been in this position since January 2016. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Road User Charging at Q-Free ASA from November 2006 to January 2016. In this role, they were responsible for Q-Free's total Road User Charging portfolio, including heading the corresponding R&D and Supply Chain areas. Marianne also supported the offices abroad to achieve operational efficiency within project delivery and service & maintenance activities worldwide.

Before their time at Q-Free, Marianne was the Chairman of the Board at Noca AS from January 2007 to December 2010. During their time at Noca, they also served as a member of the board at Norges forskningsråd from January 2007 to December 2008. From January 2005 to December 2006, they were a member of the board at Nera Satcom.

Marianne began their career in 1988 as the Vice President of Operations at Nera Networks AS, where they worked until December 2006.

Marianne Sandal has a degree in mechanical engineering from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences and an engineer's degree from BI Norwegian Business School.
