Fabián Arismendi Ferrada

Development Lead at Poliglota

Fabián Arismendi Ferrada has worked in a number of roles in the technology sector since 2014. Fabián began their career as a Research Assistant Internship at CITIAPS and an Assistant Professor at Universidad Central de Chile. In 2016, they were a Software Development Engineer Junior at GamerApp and a Software Development and Research at Orand S.A. In 2017, they were a Data Scientist Lead & Technical Lead and a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at AVLA. Since 2021, they have been a Development Lead at Poliglota (YC W21), where they have led the software development team (6-14) and implemented SCRUM of SCRUMS, increased the number of user stories put into production without bugs, created and executed career plans for all programmers, migrated RoR monolith system to microservices with RoR Api + Vue3, implemented CI/CD architecture, Jenkins and AWS Fargate / Dockers, and multi-squad Git workflow with gitflow. Fabián has also been responsible for LMS integration for asynchronous classes and selecting and hiring developers and creating profiles.
