William Martinez

William Martinez has had a varied career in software engineering. William began working with Obilabs in 2013 as a Web Developer, where they developed PHP, designed web pages and mailings using HTML5 and CSS3, and created interactive apps for Facebook Pages using JavaScript. In 2014, they joined Costamar Travel Group, where they held the roles of Technical Lead, Full Stack Engineer, and Junior Software Engineer. In 2020, they worked with both Experis and Q SYSTEM as a Full Stack Engineer. Later that year, they joined Gfi Perú as a Senior Backend Developer. Most recently, they began working at Poliglota in 2021 as a Technical Lead.

William Martinez is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physics at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. from 2020 to 2025. William is also enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering in Systems Engineering at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas from 2020 to 2024. Previously, they studied Computer Engineering at CIBERTEC from 2011 to 2014. Martinez has also obtained several certifications, including Data-Driven Astronomy from the University of Sydney in September 2021, Go Backend Developer and Java Backend Developer from Platzi in March 2020, Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from the Scrum Alliance in July 2019, and PHP Web Developer from the National University of Engineering in January 2013.
