Agnieszka Stefaniak-Hrycko

Director - Scientific Center In Rome at Polish Academy of Sciences

Agnieszka Stefaniak-Hrycko has an extensive work experience in the field of academia and government. Starting in 2002, they worked at the Office for Foreigners until 2003. Agnieszka then joined the Ministry of Education and Science, where they held various roles from specialist to Chief expert until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they served as an Advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Regional Development. Agnieszka later returned to the Ministry of Education and Science as Deputy director and then Deputy director at the Department of Science and Bureau of the Minister from 2010 to 2017. In 2017, Agnieszka joined the NAWA Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, initially as the Head of the Department of programmes for scientists, later becoming the Deputy director and finally the Director of the Department of Programmes for Scientists until 2022. Currently, they are the Director of the Scientific Center in Rome at the Polska Akademia Nauk.

Agnieszka Stefaniak-Hrycko obtained their Master's Degree from the University of Warsaw between the years 1997 and 2002. Agnieszka also completed a postgraduate program in the Manager's Competencies Academy at Kozminski University, although the specific years for this education are not provided.
