Stefan Awietjan

Stefan Awietjan has extensive work experience in various research and project roles. Stefan started their career in 2009 at Warsaw University of Technology as an Independent Process Engineer, where they led research projects on the properties of polymer nanocomposites and intelligent materials. Stefan later worked as a Process Engineer on projects related to metallic, ceramic, and polymer materials. In 2011, Stefan joined Technology Partners Foundation as a Project Management Specialist, where they contributed to research projects focused on smart aircraft structures and novel composite structures with electrical conductivity. In 2019, they became the Chief Research and Project Specialist at PWPW S.A.

Stefan Awietjan's education history begins with their Master's Degree in Materials Science, which they obtained from Warsaw University of Technology from 1999 to 2004. Stefan then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science, completing it from Warsaw University of Technology between 2004 and 2010. During the same period, they also attended the International PhD School Switzerland-Poland, where they obtained another Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science.

In terms of additional certifications, Stefan Awietjan obtained the AgilePM Foundation certification from APMG International in September 2020. Prior to that, in November 2019, they obtained the PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
