Saverio Mascolo

Saverio Mascolo is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering and computer science. Serving as the Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Politecnico di Bari since December 1995, Saverio has also been a Full Professor and Associate Editor for IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking since May 2016. In addition to academic roles, Saverio co-founded Quavlive, a video streaming company, in April 2011 and has contributed as an associate at CRAT since 2010. Previous positions include academic consultant at Uppsala University from 2002 to 2006 and visiting professor at the University of California, Los Angeles during two separate terms. Saverio holds a postdoctoral degree in computer networks from UCLA and has an educational background from Politecnico di Bari and Liceo Irsina.
