Paolo Rocco

Paolo Rocco is a Full Professor at Politecnico di Milano, where contributions to the academic community include serving on the Board of Governors since 2022 and chairing the Systems and Control Area at DEIB since 2023. Rocco has held various significant roles in multiple organizations, including a member of the Management Board at euRobotics aisbl and I-RIM, and serving as the Scientific Responsible for Technology Transfer Projects at MADE - Competence Center Industria 4.0. As a co-founder and scientific advisor at Smart Robots since 2016, Rocco also contributed to EIT Manufacturing as a member of the Board of Advisors (2020-2022). Rocco completed a PhD in Computer Science and Automation and holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, coupled with a brief tenure as a visiting professor at Georgia Institute of Technology.
