Matti van Hecke

Matti Van Hecke is an experienced professional in public affairs, currently serving as Managing Partner at Political Intelligence since November 2017, with a progression through various consultant roles within the organization. In addition, Matti is a Board Member at the Public Affairs Community of Europe since October 2022 and has been the Head of Secretariat for the European Public Affairs Consultancies' Association since April 2018. Academic credentials include a PhD in Political Science obtained from the University of Antwerp, where Matti has also held roles as Visiting Professor, Postdoctoral Researcher, PhD Researcher, and Teaching Assistant. Other academic experience includes a brief tenure as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Bergen in 2015. Matti holds multiple master's degrees in International Relations, Comparative Politics, and Social and Economic Sciences from the University of Antwerp.
