Nick Earl

Nick Earl currently serves as an Energy and Climate Reporter for POLITICO Europe since November 2023. Previously, Nick was the Energy Editor at City AM from October 2021 to November 2023, focusing on energy, industrials, and the environment through a weekly column and podcast. Nick's journalistic experience includes roles as a Reporter at PAM Insight Ltd, where significant events in asset management and investing were reported, and at City AM, where features in the sports section were crafted. Additional freelance contributions include writing for the Daily Mail and The Sun, and experience at Prospect Magazine and the Evening Standard. Academic qualifications consist of a Master’s degree in Magazine Journalism from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Warwick.
