Oscar Williams

Oscar Williams is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in technology and media. Currently serving as the UK Tech and Trade Editor at POLITICO Europe since February 2023, Oscar previously held multiple roles at the New Statesman from May 2017 to January 2023, including Technology Editor and Acting Special Projects Editor. Oscar's career includes positions at The Huffington Post as a tech reporter, Guardian News & Media as a commissioning editor, and The Times as a production journalist, among others. Notable achievements include developing five significant online tech-focused communities and leading Impact Magazine as Editor-in-Chief during its award-winning tenure. Oscar holds a Master of Arts in Newspaper Journalism from City, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Nottingham.
