Zoya Sheftalovich

Zoya Sheftalovich is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in political reporting and investigative journalism. Currently serving as a contributing editor and reporter at POLITICO Europe since April 2015, Zoya edits the Brussels and London Playbook and covers topics including Ukraine, foreign policy, and transatlantic affairs. Prior roles include investigative journalist and news editor at CHOICE, where Zoya gained prominence for high-profile investigations, as well as managing editor at the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism. Zoya has also contributed as a researcher for ABC's The Checkout and as a foreign correspondent for 2ser, providing insights on global financial issues. Zoya holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Journalism from the University of Technology Sydney.
