Emily Ngo

Emily Ngo is a seasoned political reporter currently serving as a co-author of the NY Playbook at POLITICO since July 2023. Prior to this role, Emily worked as a political reporter at Spectrum Networks from November 2019 to July 2023 and was a national political reporter at Newsday Media Group between October 2010 and November 2019, where coverage included the 2018 and 2020 elections and time as a White House correspondent. Earlier experience includes positions as a political editor and reporter at amNewYork, staff reporter at the New York Post, and staff reporter at the Daily Herald, where recognition included three Local Excellence awards. Emily began the journalism career with an internship at the Chicago Sun-Times and holds a B.S. in Newspaper Journalism and International Relations from Syracuse University.
