PoliTo Rocket Team
Marco Donà is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as Chief Engineer and Recovery Lead Engineer at PoliTo Rocket Team since October 2023, coordinating a team of eight in the design of the recovery system for the VES sounding rocket. Previously, from October 2021 to October 2023, Marco held the position of Electronic Division Leader at Lift UP, where responsibilities included leading a team of eight and designing a fixed-wing drone for the Air Cargo Challenge. Marco's earlier experience includes a brief internship as an Electrician at TOWER ELECTRICAL FIRE & SAFETY LIMITED during May and June 2018 as part of the Erasmus+ program. Educational qualifications include a Laurea Magistrale in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (2023-2025) and a Laurea Triennale in Aerospace Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova (2019-2023), along with a Diploma in Mechanics and Mechatronics from Iti F. Severi Padova (2014-2019).

PoliTo Rocket Team
PoliTo Rocket Team is a student team of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace engineering of Politecnico di Torino, located in Turin, Italy. The Team is entirely devoted to the design and construction of experimental sounding rockets and rocket engines for scientific research purposes. PoliTo Rocket Team’s mission is to contribute to Italy's space innovation, with the study of next-generation space exploration technologies in a student-driven context. The Team wants to provide students with the possibility to complete the theoretical knowledge learnt in the classroom with projects that involve considerable challenges and solid results.
