Angela Buchanan is an experienced educational professional and realtor, currently serving as an ESE Facilitator with the Polk County School Board since November 2022. In this role, Angela provides guidance and support to program participants, manages logistics, and ensures compliance with relevant policies while fostering a respectful and inclusive environment. Prior to this, Angela held various roles within the Polk County School Board, including Parent Liaison and Reading Specialist. Angela's real estate career spans multiple companies, including Radius, Amerivest Realty, CENTURY 21®, and Coldwell Banker, where a strong emphasis on customer service and assisting clients in achieving their housing goals is evident. Angela holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and Community Organization from the American College of Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

The Polk County Board of Public Instruction, which later became the Polk County School Board, was formed in 1869.
