Galen Li

Galena has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Starting in 2013, Galena worked as a Frontend Web Developer for Freelancer.com for five years. In 2017, Galena pursued a career as an Ab Initio Cadet Pilot at Singapore Airlines but later dropped out. From 2018 to 2019, Galena worked as a BD Representative (APAC) for Aave, a decentralized money market protocol. Galena then joined Talenta Pte Ltd, the first and leading blockchain consulting firm in Asia, as a Project Manager from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, Galena became the Content Lead at MyCryptoMixer, a Bitcoin mixer platform. In 2020, Galena worked as a Senior Marketing Consultant for Morpheus Labs and as a Senior Ambassador for Polkadot. In 2021, Galena served as the Head of Education & Community at Luno, overseeing research and community feedback. Galena also worked concurrently as the Marketing Lead for BingX. In 2022, Galena became the Head of Product at SQR3D, a role they currently hold.

Galena's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications in various fields. They attended the Singapore Management University, where they pursued an Msc in Communication Management, which has been postponed until 2023. They also obtained a Gcert in Communication Management from the same university. Prior to that, Galen earned a BA in Communication and Media Studies from The University of Western Australia.

In terms of technical education, Galen holds a Diploma in Aerospace Electronics from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Additionally, they completed their GCE Advanced Level in the Science Stream at Innova Junior College.

Apart from their formal education, Galen has obtained several certifications. These include the Certified Agile Leadership Essentials and Certified Agile Leadership for Teams from the Scrum Alliance, both in 2021. In 2020, they achieved the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) and Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) certifications from the same institution. In 2018, Galen received the General Blockchain Proficiency certification from Turing Chain Limited. They also hold several insurance-related certifications, including Health Insurance (HI) Module, M9 - Life Insurance And Investment-Linked Policies, M9A Life Insurance And Investment-Linked Policies II, and M5 - Rules And Regulations For Financial Advisory Services, all obtained in 2012 from the Singapore College Of Insurance.
