Tomasz Owczarek has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Tomasz started their career in 1997 as a Network Operations Engineer at Telekomunikacja Polska SA. In 1999, they worked as a Network Management Center Engineer at Polkomtel. From 2000 to 2001, they served as a Software Development Coordinator at Austria Telecommunication. In 2001, they worked as a Network Operations Engineer at Dynegy Europe Communication and later as a Transmission Engineer at Sferia. In 2003, Tomasz joined Polkomtel again and held various roles including Interconnection Specialist, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Head of Transport Network Department, and most recently, Deputy Director of Network Technology Subdivision since January 2018.

Tomasz Owczarek holds a Master's degree in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Postgraduate program in Project Management at SGH Warsaw School of Economics from 2004 to 2005. Tomasz'searlier education includes earning a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology, where they studied from 1994 to 1999.
