Tanya Perez

Tanya Perez has a diverse work experience. Tanya'smost recent role is as a Benefits & People Operations Specialist at Poll Everywhere, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Instituto Familiar de la Raza as a Human Resources Manager from July 2021 to March 2022, and as a Human Resources Coordinator from August 2018 to July 2021. Tanya also worked at United Way of Merced County as a CalEITC Outreach & Education Coordinator from December 2017 to May 2018. In addition, they held a position at United Way of Merced County as a 2-1-1 Outreach Specialist from May 2017 to September 2017, where they were responsible for spreading advocacy of the 2-1-1 program, creating outreach materials, managing social media platforms, and representing the program in various capacities. Prior to that, Tanya served as a Public Relations Assistant at The Foster Family for Engineering Service Learning from November 2016 to August 2017. Tanya also held leadership positions at UNICEF Club at UC Merced, serving as the Vice President from May 2016 to May 2017, and as the Secretary from August 2014 to May 2017. Tanya has additional experience as a Substitute Afterschool Tutor at California Teaching Fellows Foundation from November 2016 to January 2017, as an Events Chairwoman at Kappa Kappa Gamma, Etaxi Chapter from January 2016 to December 2016, as a Crew Member at Jack in the Box from June 2016 to September 2016, and as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Mariastella in July 2015.

Tanya Perez completed their high school education and received a high school diploma from Selma High School from 2010 to 2013. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of California, Merced from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Managerial Economics.
