Richard Fontanges has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Richard started their career as a Software Project Leader at Philips Consumer Electronics in November 1990, where they worked until September 2002. Richard then joined Philips (NXP) Semiconductors as a European Program Manager from 2002 to 2007. From April 2009 to December 2012, Richard worked as a Project Manager (Chargé de Missions) at ARDI (Agence Régionale du Développement et de l'Innovation), where they focused on project engineering, economic intelligence, and network coordination. Richard then transitioned to AMIES, where they served as a Chef de projet relations avec les entreprises from January 2013 to December 2017. Richard played a crucial role in promoting new and sustainable relations between the French Industry and public applied Mathematics. Currently, Richard is working at POLLEN Metrology, initially as a Product Owner from September 2019 to February 2023, and then as a Program Manager from February 2023 onwards.

Richard Fontanges received their DUT in Electronics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) in 1986. Richard then went on to earn their Diplome d'Ingénieur en Micro- et Opto- Electroniques in Physics from ENSICAEN - Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Caen between 1986 and 1990.

It is dedicated to the characterization of nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes and nanostructures useful for the semiconductor industry for example. Also gave an oral presentation in front of the industrial and scientific communities tointroduce our first generation of data fusion algorithms dedicated to nanoparticles analysis and useful for example for the pharmaceutical industry.The propose a full software infrastructure dedicated to the smart factory for yield enhancement and defect tracking. It also uses in the synergy of these 3 innovations accelerates advanced process control from R&D to production.
