Barry Amundson

Production Design Manager at Pollinate

Barry Amundson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Barry'smost recent role was as a Production Design Manager at Pollinate, starting in May 2012. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at the Pacific Northwest College of Art for a brief period in 2009. From 2008 to 2009, they served as a Production Designer at Leopold Ketel & Partners.

Barry also has experience in design and technology management roles. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Design Manager at Fenton Communications, where they created print collateral for political messaging campaigns and managed IT components. In 2005, they briefly served as the Technology Manager at Pesticide Action Network North America.

Barry has also demonstrated their passion for social justice through their roles. Barry co-founded Peaceful Tomorrows, a 9/11 family organization focused on social justice, in 2001. In this role, they built and maintained the organization's website, wrote press releases and newsletters, and created various materials.

Earlier in their career, Barry worked as a Junior Art Director at Circle.com in 2000 and as an IT Manager at Addison Design in 1998. Barry also had a technology management role at Addison in the same year. Before that, from 1996 to 1998, they worked as a Digital Artist at Foote Cone Belding, where they handled digital production and retouching for clients such as MTV, Dockers, and Levi's.

Barry Amundson attended the University of Iowa from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design and Photography.
