Artur MacIag

Artur Maciag has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on contract manufacturing and supply chain management. Artur started their career at Mars Inc. as a Commercial Buyer before moving on to various roles at Sanofi, including Customer Service Manager, Commercial and Supply Chain Director, and Contract Manufacturing Director for the Eurasia region. During their time at Sanofi, Artur was responsible for production tech transfers, managing CMOs, acquisitions, due diligence, and sourcing decisions. Artur also conducted industry screenings in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine to identify potential local partners. Most recently, Artur worked at Polpharma as the Site Director of a non-sterile dry forms pharma site and as the B2B CMO Head, overseeing contract manufacturing in multiple locations and leading projects. Throughout their career, Artur has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, as well as a strategic approach to distribution and logistics.

Artur Maciag completed their education at the University of Warsaw from 1981 to 1989, where they obtained a Magister (Mgr) degree in Prawo (law). Artur later pursued post diploma study in Farmakoekonomika, marketing i prawo farmaceutyczne (pharmaco-economics, marketing, and pharmaceutical law) at the Warsaw University of Technology from 2002 to 2003. Additionally, Maciag attended the SGH Warsaw School of Economics from 1989 to 1991 for post diploma study in Handel zagraniczny (international trade).
