Asha Marina D'Souza has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field since 1997. Asha Marina began their career as a Lecturer at St. Xavier's College, followed by a Contributory Teacher position at Goa University from 2000 to 2003. From 2003 to 2004, they were an Executive R & D Chemist at Dai-ichi Karkaria Laboratory. Asha Marina then worked as a Research Scientist at Divi's Laboratories and Divis Laboratories Limited from 2004 to 2005. From 2008 to 2010, they held the role of Research Project Officer/Synthetic Chemist/Industrial trainee at CSIRO, CMHT, Clayton, Australia. Lastly, they were a Senior Development Scientist and Research Scientist at PolyActiva from 2010 to present. Her role as Research Scientist at PolyActiva includes designing, developing and producing novel drug-polymer conjugates for ocular disease and wound care treatment.
