Rajashekhar Reddy

Rajashekhar Reddy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Currently, they are the Vice President of Marketing at Polycab India Limited, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, from July 2021 to June 2023, they served as the Category Head (Cables and Wires) at the same company.

Before joining Polycab India Limited, Rajashekhar worked at Anchor by Panasonic (Panasonic Life Solutions India) from February 2017 to July 2021. Here, they held the role of Head of Product & Marketing (IAQ) where they led the product strategy and conducted consumer and market research to identify new product opportunities.

From September 2012 to February 2017, Rajashekhar was the General Manager of Strategic Marketing at H & R Johnson India, a division of Prism Cement Ltd. In this role, they were responsible for sales strategy and implementation, as well as the development of mobile automation for the sales team and channel partners.

Prior to that, from January 2009 to August 2012, they served as Senior Manager of Marketing-Strategic at H & R Johnson India, where they focused on market analysis and competitor research. From June 2005 to January 2009, Rajashekhar worked as Senior Manager of Product Management, overseeing the brand management and product lines at the company. Rajashekhar also held the role of Executive Assistant to the Managing Director from July 2002 to May 2005, where they managed important projects and special assignments.

Overall, Rajashekhar has extensive experience in marketing, sales strategy, product management, and team management within the consumer goods industry.

Rajashekhar Reddy completed a Managment Development Program in General Management at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2015. Prior to that, they earned an MBA in Marketing from the Institute For Technology and Management between 2000 and 2002. Rajashekhar also holds a B.TECH degree in Industrial & Production Engineering from KL University, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Reddy completed their high school education at All Saints High School from 1982 to 1994.
