Sven Wellmann

Sven Wellmann is a Research Analyst at Polychain Capital since June 2023, following a role as a Data Scientist and ML Engineer at Matogen Applied Insights from October 2022 to July 2023. At Matogen, Sven contributed to full-stack data science and machine learning solutions across various sectors, including FinTech, Agriculture, Healthcare, and Telecommunications. Sven holds a Master's degree in Economics obtained from Stellenbosch University in January 2023, a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Economics from the same institution in January 2022, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Mathematical Science, specializing in Mathematical Statistics and Financial Risk Management, completed in 2020. Early education was completed at Bishops Diocesan College between 2014 and 2016.
