Dr Anthony Evans has extensive experience in the field of Open Banking. Dr Anthony began their career in 2012 as a Non-Functional Client Side Assurance and Strategic Consultant for Royal Mail. In 2013, they took on the role of Performance Test Manager for Cambridge Assessment. In 2014, they became the Strategic Non-Functional Test Manager for Experian. In 2015, they took on two roles for the UK Ministry of Defence, Strategic Non-Functional Test Manager, Integration Test and Transition Team, and Non-Functional Test Manager for the 'New Style of IT'. In 2017, they became the AWS Data Warehouse Functional Security Manager for Sainsbury's Bank, and the Strategic Non-Functional Test Manager for IRIS Software. In 2018, they worked for Open Banking as an OB Ecosystem Monitoring and Profiling, PISP Development Programme, Adviser to UK Banks on PSD2 Exemption Applications, OB Adviser on AIS and PIS Projections, NESTA Finalist Support, CMA9 Attestation, Test Representative on OB Technical Design Authority, and Contributor to OB Standards on ASPSP and TPP MI. Dr Anthony also served as a Non-Functional Test Consultant for Open Banking. In 2018, they also worked as a UAT, User Accessibility Test Manager for Royal Mail. In 2020, they founded Open Banking Delivery and served as a Consultant/Founder. Finally, in 2022, they became a Open Banking Strategy Mentor for Polydigi Tech Ltd.

Dr Anthony Evans has a long and varied educational history. Dr Anthony began their studies at Cheltenham Grammar School from 1966 to 1973. From 1979 to 1982, they attended The Open University, where they earned a PhD in Computer Simulation of Physiological and Behavioural Systems. Dr Anthony then went on to the University of Leeds, where they were a Post Doc Fellow from 1982 to 1984, studying Animal Physiology and Nutrition- simulation and AI.
