Director Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs at Polyganics

Betty IJmker has held the position of Director Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at Polyganics since 2007. She is responsible for approvals and registration of new products throughout Europe, the USA, China and other regions, as well as maintaining certification of commercialized products, quality management, and ensuring that Polyganics’ medical devices are compliant with all necessary regulations across the globe.

Betty has extensive experience in quality assurance, having previously worked for six years at Polyganics as a dedicated Quality Director, before assuming her current role. Prior to this, Betty worked at the Department of Polymer Chemistry at Groningen University, and later at Polyganics and HaemoProbe, assisting in the start-up of the companies, including set-up of quality management systems and internal auditing.

Betty holds an MSc in Medical Technology Regulatory Affairs from Cranfield University and an MA from the University of Groningen.
