M. Sydney Smith

M. Sydney Smith, PhD, is a Life Sciences Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, where they lead market research and strategy initiatives for life sciences clients. With a decade of biomedical research experience and five years in business, M. Sydney successfully drove significant revenue growth as President of miLEAD Consulting. They also co-founded the Midwest Healthcare Case Competition, published in *Nature Biotech*, and have mentored numerous students in research. Academically, M. Sydney earned a PhD in Immunology from the University of Michigan and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Biology from the University of San Diego.
