Lou Grube has extensive work experience in the construction industry, specifically in the development and innovation of roofing and flooring applications. They started their career in 1979 as a Principal Scientist at GAF Materials Corporation, where they worked until 2010. In 2011, they joined Polyglass U.S.A., Inc./Mapei and held various roles including Manager of R&D, Director of R&D, Director of R&D Strategic Projects, and their current position as Director of Intellectual Properties. Their expertise lies in modified bitumen membranes, formulations, and sound reduction for flooring and roofing applications.
Lou Grube attended Pfeiffer University from 1973 to 1977. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Chemistry. They also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the same university.
