Joe Dursun

Joe Dursun has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2007. Joe began their career as a Laboratory Assistant at Golder Associates. In 2012, they moved to Rentpath as a Software Engineer. In 2015, they joined Clockwise.MD by Lightshed Healthcare as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2017, they joined SynapseMX, Inc. as the Vice President of Engineering. In 2018, they moved to PurpleCloud Technologies as the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Polygon.io as a Senior Software Engineer.

Joe Dursun obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2008 and 2011. Joe also holds three certifications from Coursera: Structuring Machine Learning Projects (October 2017), Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization (September 2017), and Neural Networks and Deep Learning (August 2017).
